BNB CHAIN ANNOUNCES AI AGENT COLLECTION SOLUTION
On January 21st, BNB Chain announced the launch of a one-click, no-code AI Agent collection solution. The initiative aims to simplify the development and deployment of decentralized AI Agents, helping more developers build AI applications suitable for the web3 ecosystem and providing more options for BNB Chain ecosystem users.

BNB Chain’s AI Agent solution comes equipped with a series of customizable agent tools, including Eliza plugins, ShellAgent, TermiX, and REVOX. These tools allow developers to create AI Agents capable of autonomously completing tasks such as content generation, data analysis, and financial modeling. The solution also integrates multiple AI Agent launchpads, enabling easy deployment of AI Agents and their assets with just a few clicks.
The AI Agent collection solution is part of BNB Chain’s long-term “AI First” development strategy, building various infrastructure components to support AI ecosystem development. In addition to the AI Agent solution, BNB Chain is launching an AI Agent competition where users of winning projects in each round can receive project token airdrops worth $10,000. Winners can also receive support in marketing, business development, and CEX resource exposure through the upcoming AI Fast Track Program. BNB CHAIN’S DEFI ECOSYSTEM STRUGGLES WITH TVL GROWTH
In 2021, BNB Chain had its moments of glory in the DeFi space. DeFi protocols like PancakeSwap attracted massive liquidity, becoming one of two major DEX giants alongside UniSwap. In May 2021, BNB Chain’s TVL reached $21.84B, second only to Ethereum’s TVL. However, it has been declining since then. Since June 2022, the TVL growth on BNB Chain has shown almost no increase. As of January 21, 2025, despite the crypto bull market having lasted for quite some time, BNB Chain’s TVL remains at just $5.617B.

Clearly, BNB’s development in the DeFi sector has been very challenging. On-chain protocols including Lending, DEXes, Liquid Staking, and Yield products all show weak liquidity growth. Currently, BNB Chain’s TVL has been surpassed by multiple public chains including Solana, Tron, and Bitcoin, accounting for only 4.55% of total TVL.
