From February 18 to 20, 2025, the premier global blockchain and Web3 event—Consensus Hong Kong 2025—was grandly held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Consensus Hong Kong 2025, hosted by globally renowned blockchain media CoinDesk, attracted over 8,000 attendees, including 6,000 international guests. With the theme “The Future of Web3, Decentralized Finance, and Artificial Intelligence,” the conference focused on core topics including AI and blockchain integration, RWA tokenization, and DeFi innovation. Executives from top global crypto companies including Binance, Solana, OKX, Blockstream, and Animoca Brands were all in attendance, sharing industry insights and future outlooks.
On the opening day of the conference, Binance CEO Richard Teng delivered a keynote speech at the main forum, emphasizing that “cryptocurrency will become the future of money.” He pointed out that with the influx of institutional investors, the cryptocurrency market is facing unprecedented development opportunities. Teng specifically mentioned the combination of AI and blockchain, believing this will reshape multiple fields including finance, payments, and asset management.
