CoinRank News: The ZKsync team released an update on the investigation of the airdrop token theft that occurred on April 13, 2025, disclosing that it is working with the Security Committee to explore the gradual exchange of recovered ETH into ZK tokens, and the subsequent processing will be determined by the governance mechanism. ZKsync also stated that it will revise the token program guidelines to require all token programs to use Capped Minter V2, which was launched in December 2024, including a pre-specified end date that automatically prevents minting outside the token program window; and deploy and end-to-end test real-time monitoring and alert infrastructure for all on-chain contracts that can access ZK tokens or protocols.
